Justin Smith graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 although his career started in the mid-eighties when he worked for a large contractor before studying Architecture. Whilst studying he worked for a number of Practices including amongst others Tonkin Architects, Tim Foster Architects and after qualifying Sheppard Robson Architects.
At Tim Foster Architects, he designed projects for the Arts, Theatres and Schools. With Tonkin Architects designing residential, offices and restaurants and entering a number of competitions including the Ideal Home Competition 1997 which was shortlisted. Later with David Gibson Architects a Conservation and Historic building specialist in Islington design sympathetic contemporary interventions in historical/listed buildings and at Sheppard Robson designing offices. He has further collaborated with other architectural practices in Helsinki and Athens, in particular ZEGE, Domorinthos and WS Atkins.
Christina Kappou finished her studies at Metropolitan University London and following graduation has worked on refurbishment projects in London and Athens. She has undertaken office fit-out, refurbishment and recently worked on hotel and office projects. She is still collaborating with the architectural practice ZEGE in Athens. She is keen on ambient open spaces, playful design and a modern approach to form and function.
